    Duties

    • Manages Specialty Cheese & Antipasto categories for the deli department
    • Provides leadership coverage for Food Service departments as needed
    • Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards for Specialty Cheese and Antipasto bar
    • Participates in quarterly and annual forecasting
    • Assists in achieving quarterly financial goals with a focus on gross and labor
    • Participates in establishing and maintaining an integral and collaborative environment
    • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, customers, corporate staff and vendor community
    • Assists in the hiring, training and development of employees for the Specialty Cheese & Antipasto categories
    • Provides and role models excellent customer service
    • Establishes and maintains a 360 feedback process including customers, staff and leadership
    • Establishes and maintains a culture of safety throughout all food service departments
    • Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
    • Oversees maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and specified areas
    • Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
    • Role models attitude of service to staff and customers
    • Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
    • Ensures the dissemination of and adherence to all company and department policies
    • Supports and follows all safety/security policies and sustainability programs
    • Operates within the Company’s Core Values and Company Brand

    Qualifications

    • Deep knowledge and interest in food with a focus on cheese and antipasto
    • Working knowledge of all food service areas and equipment
    • Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
    • Knowledge of and the ability to execute proper cutting, wrapping, sampling, merchandising and storage of specialty cheese
    • Must be a positive team player, leader, and positive role model that can effectively manage through change with the capacity to inspire others
    • Understands and upholds ready for business standards
    • Critical thinker with proficiencies in: schedule writing, inventory management, ordering practices and forecasting
    • Ability to train others in cheese and antipasto handling and product management
    • Must possess an attitude of service to others
    • Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
    • Detail oriented, organized with effective time management skills
    • Must have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, customers, and vendors
    • Embraces 360 feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
    • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
    • Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
    • Exemplifies health department standards
    • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
    • 18 years or older

    Entry Level Compensation

    USD $19.10/Hr.

    Maximum Compensation
