A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .

    • Performs minor facility repair work (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry) 
    • Performs scheduled refrigeration/freezer case/major equipment maintenance 
    • Triages work order requests (refrigeration/drains) 
    • Work closely with Facility Maintenance Team 
    • Uses a variety of hand and power tools 
    • Orders and maintains proper inventory of spare parts 
    • May act as a point of contact with vendors and contractors 
    • Ensures general cleanliness of market 
    • Detects and diagnoses problems 
    • Performs safety checks 
    • Supports and follows all company and department policies 
    • Supports and follows sustainability program and all safety and security policies 
    • Demonstrates attitude of service to co-workers and customers 
    • Operates within the Company’s Core Values and Company Brand 
    • Keeps up on industry trends, standards and changes

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . . .

  • You have 2 years of experience with proven ability to perform general facility work
  • Possess an attitude of service to others
  • Are accurate and detail oriented
  • Demonstrate self-discipline and accountability
  • Have the ability to take direction and carry out department tasks and assignments
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills and good record keeping skills
  • Have the ability to work independently, as well as with a diverse group of customers, employees, and leadership
  • Are a team player and a positive role model
  • Display excellent work ethic with a pro-active attitude
  • Have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, graveyard, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs – requires routine heavy lifting, pushing and pulling
  • Possess a commitment to personal and professional development
  • Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
  • Exemplify health department standards
  • Have the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Are 18 years or older
