- Handles any special customer situations/complaints/returns
- Develops and maintains a detailed merchandising calendar at least 13 weeks out
- Hires and trains new department employees
- Writes & works orders, plans promotions, ensures proper signage on all product & inventory control procedures for the department
- Responsible for the department sales & labor budget, grosses, profitability, and reports
- Responsible for keeping the POS department updated on price changes
- Performs semi-annual employee performance evaluations
- Procures product-best price/best time to buy
- Receives & stocks product
- Assists in merchandising of product for retail sales
- General cleaning duties and maintenance
- Adheres to all company/department policies
- Follows and maintains the highest safety standards and procedures
- Writes department schedule
- Adheres to waste management and recycling procedures

- Provides outstanding customer service in food service departments including: Pizzeria, Espresso, Bakery, Deli, and Market Meals
- Prepares department product for sale
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff and vendor community
- Cultivates and maintains an integral and collaborative environment
- Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout food service and restaurant
- Assists in the training and development of employees
- Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff, and leadership
- Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
- Maintains departments in a neat, clean and orderly manner
- Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
